Severe weight gain, crippling panic attacks, heart palpitations, swollen limbs, swollen hands and feet, daily headaches, weekly migraines, the constant feeling of impending doom… if I had of known the Mirena did this, I wouldn’t have got it. A doctor told me great things about it but now that I’ve realised this isnt the case for many women and myself included, I’ve taken comfort in knowing I am not alone. Im booked into my doctor to have it removed and ill never look back. I feel betrayed by the system and there are too many women going through the exact same thing. I am determined to get my life back. 1.5 years of this living hell but I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.
