I had the Nuvaring for about a year, had major symptoms, and have had lingering effects since stopping. When I started it, it gave me unbearable back pain for a week (I literally couldn’t walk or get out of bed) and felt awful. It also gave me extreme vaginal dryness and acute vaginal pain that has not gone after multiple years since quitting. I highly recommend anyone considering the ring to stay off of it.
