So I’ve had my copper IUD in for literally 5 years and I always ignored the symptoms.
I was only 16 when I got it so I kind of thought I was like going through more puberty, Of course I suffered with the normal symptoms like super heavy periods and cramps (never got cramps before the iud just a period) but also with weight gain, cystic painful acne, and constant Bv.
Recently I’ve suffered with extreme anxiety, chronic fatigue, and symptoms of anemia like (easy bruising, always cold) so I got my blood tested and they just said my vitamin D levels were low so they gave me a supplement but after months taking it I still felt the same that’s when I found out about copper toxicity so I’m definitely getting this taken out.
